Introduction
The Gods of the new world are powerful deities, each representing a different aspect of existence, nature and the elements. Nations align themselves with these Gods, following their philosophies and drawing strength from their domains.
đș Shewolf
The Creator and Keeper of Souls (She/Her)
Domain: Creation, Souls, Balance
Shewolf is the divine creator of the world, the architect of reality, and the mother of the gods. Unlike the other gods, who govern specific elements, Shewolf embodies the foundation of existence itself. She oversees the land, sky, and seas, ensuring balance in her creation. Her presence is omniscient yet distantâwatching, but rarely intervening unless absolutely necessary.
Shewolf is regal yet sorrowful, carrying the weight of past loss that keeps her emotionally distant from the gods and mortals she created. Her six white wings, each bearing an all-seeing eye, allow her to perceive all things, while the crown of flowers and Friendship Emerald she wears serve as relics of the pastâreminders of those she refuses to forget.
Though she rarely shows emotion, Shewolf has a fierce sense of justice and will not tolerate cruelty. She does not seek control over the gods, but when they push the world to the brinkâsuch as during Auroris and Grugâlaahkâs Moon Feudâshe steps in with absolute authority.
Shewolf is closest to Entropy, the only god who remained with her after her past world fell. She does not fully open up to him, but he is the one being she allows near.
đč Entropy
The Trickster God of Chaos and Change (He/Him)
Domain: Chaos, Unpredictability, Transformation
Entropy thrives on disruption and unpredictability. His role in the pantheon is not destruction, but stirring the potâchallenging stagnant order and ensuring growth through change. He acts as a protector of Travelers, often stepping in when other gods act unfairly toward mortals.
His dark form is marked with glowing red scars, remnants of Shewolf accidentally blowing him up during his transformation into a god. Despite the pain they once caused, he embraces these scars as part of his chaotic existence.
Entropy is mischievous yet insightful, often playing both sides of conflicts while subtly guiding events toward an unexpected but necessary outcome. He is Shewolfâs closest companion, the only god who remained when she lost everything. Their dynamic is banter-filled yet unbreakableâhe is the one force that keeps her from becoming completely withdrawn.
Among the gods, Entropy is an annoyance to many, but his clever mind and ability to manipulate fate itself make him invaluable. While he frustrates Shewolf, she trusts him in a way she trusts no one else.
đ Grug’laahk
The God of Caves and Ancient Cities (He/Him)
Domain: Underground, Ruins, Secrets
Grugâlaahk rules the depths of the world, governing caves, tunnels, and forgotten civilizations. He sees beauty in darkness, hoarding the shiny treasures of the deep and ensuring balance within the underground ecosystem.
His short, stout form, resembling a dwarven goblin, is covered in glowing mineral veins. Though pragmatic and serious, he has a childlike love for anything that sparkles, driving him to “mine the moon”âa habit that infuriates Auroris and has led to their legendary feud.
Grugâlaahk was once tricked by Sylvara, who, after he favored certain cave-dwelling creatures over others, unleashed the Sculk upon his domain as punishment. He has never forgiven her, but he secretly mourns the creatures lost to the corruption.
He and Entropy share an annoying-yet-respectful relationship, as Entropy enjoys pranking him by replacing his gemstones with worthless trinkets.
âïž Auroris
The God of the Heavens and Weather (He/Him)
Domain: Sky, Stars, Weather
Auroris embodies the ever-changing skyâhis form shifts like the weather itself, glowing golden during the day and shimmering like the starry night at dusk. He is responsible for the sun, moon, and celestial balance, yet his temperamental nature leads to frequent storms and clashes with other gods.
He is playful but prideful, seeing the sky as his personal canvas, filling it with constellations that tell stories of past events and fallen heroes. He and Azuris share a rivalry-friendship, their conflicts shaping the fiercest storms, while he and Grugâlaahk are in a constant war over the moonâas Auroris repairs what Grugâlaahk destroys.
Despite his childlike wonder, Auroris carries the weight of ensuring the sun and moon stay in motionâa task given to him by Shewolf.
đ§ Azuris
The Keeper of Seas and Storms (Any/All)
Domain: Oceans, Ice, Rain
Azuris is the god of the sea, embodying both its beauty and its brutality. Their form constantly shifts, made of flowing water and bioluminescent light, reflecting the deepâs ever-changing nature.
They are pragmatic yet misunderstoodâoften seen as cold and merciless, yet their harsh trials exist to ensure balance and resilience. They hold a deep respect for Auroris, their stormy quarrels fueling tempests that test both gods and mortals alike.
Azuris clashes with Sylvara, as land-based life does not always respect the laws of the ocean. Though not cruel, Azuris sees the survival of the fittest as natureâs true way and does not tolerate weakness.
Their domain includes the Aquamirae, a deadly underwater maze that serves as their trial for the worthy.
đ Ersara
The Gentle Architect of the World (She/Her)
Domain: Land, Biomes, Stability
Ersara is the earth itself, a calm, motherly figure who ensures the land remains fertile and strong. Her bronze-hued skin and moss-like hair reflect the life she nurtures, and she is the goddess most beloved by Travelers for providing resources and shelter.
She is patient and neutral, serving as the mediator among gods. Even when Entropy upends her mountains, she merely sighs and reshapes them. She is closest to Sylvara, working alongside her to maintain balance in the natural world.
âš Etherion
The God of Magic and Enchantments (They/Them)
Domain: Magic, Enchantment, Discovery
Etherion governs the mystical forces of the world, crafting spells, enchantments, and arcane trials. Their crystalline form, constantly shifting with arcane energy, reflects their mysterious and enigmatic nature.
They believe magic must be earned, scattering powerful artifacts throughout the world, hidden behind trials and riddles. Though neutral, they reward those who seek knowledge and punish those who use magic recklessly.
Etherion shares creative energy with Pyrelis but finds Entropyâs unpredictability exhausting.
đ„ Pyrelis
The Scatterbrained God of Passion and Invention (She/Her)
Domain: Fire, Creation, The Nether
Pyrelis is a fiery inventor, embodying creativity and destruction in equal measure. Her molten hair and soot-covered clothing mark her as a chaotic, brilliant force who forges new things without thinking about the consequences.
She loves the Nether, viewing its harsh conditions as the perfect playground for invention. She shares a chaotic but fun rivalry with Azuris, as fire and water are natural opposites.
đČ Sylvara
The Wild Keeper of Nature (She/Her)
Domain: Life, Animals, Survival
Sylvara is feral and untamed, embodying the harsh yet beautiful reality of nature. She is a shapeshifter, appearing as a wild, vine-covered goddess or a cunning predator, watching over the world she protects.
She created the Sculk to punish Grugâlaahk, seeing it as a lesson in balance. However, even she regrets its spread. She respects Ersara but fears Entropy, believing he tears things down without understanding the cost.
