[Sticky] Nation Info & Applications

Welcome to the Nations system on Shewolf's Origins! Nations are a key part of both gameplay and lore, letting players team up, build together, influence world events and take part in server-wide compititions. 

What are Nations?

A Nation is a group of players who base together, share resources, create lore and complete quests to earn Nation Points. 

They can:

• Build impressive settlements
• Shape server wide storylines
• Run quests and events
• Compete in monthly Nation rankings
• Align with or oppose the gods!

You don't need to be in a Nation to enjoy the server, but Nations are a great way to find yout people and get involved.

How to Join a Nation

Check the Nation Hall in-game!

Each Nation has:

• A display with its flag and symbolic item
• A book with lore, rules and how to join

Some nations are open, others require an invite. Talk to leaders or co-leaders listed in the book. Not sure who to contact? Ask in chat or open a ticket!

How to Make Your Own Nation

To apply for a new Nation, you must submit:

1. Application Form (template below)
2. Signed book 1: Nation overview, rules, theme, joining info

Staff will review your Nation and set you up in the Nation Hall once approved.

Nation Coins & Points

When you complete quests or take part in events, you may earn Nation Coins - special paper items renamed to match your username. 

These go in to Hoppers in the Nation Hall. 

2 coins per active player = 1 Nation Point

Points are calculated monthly. The top-scoring Nation earns:

• Their National Animal spawned above the nation hall
• Their flag displayed above the Nation Hall
• The right to submit a Custom Nation Coin

God Points

Instead of supporting your Nation, you may deposit your coins into a God's hopper.

The god with the most coins at the end of the month:

• Designs the next month's Nation Quest reward pool
• Rewards are themed to that god's domain.

This is a great way to influence the game world and expand server lore! If a Nation chooses to support itself, it earns honour and glory instead of divine rewards.

Quests & Events

Nations can participate in custom quests. Each gives Nation Coins upon completion. Want to add quests for your Nation?

Keeping Your Nation Active

To remain listed in the Nation Hall:

• Keep your nation info accurate and up to date.
• Hand in coins regularly. 
• Participate in events when possible. 

Inactive Nations may be removed after extended inactivity.
