What is Numismatic Overhaul?
Numismatic Overhaul is a currency system that allows people to trade coins for items rather than items straight up. These coins come in bronze, silver and gold and can be found in the world in nice little pouches. This mod also allows players to create shops that they can stock and set the prices for…so you won’t have to wait for the person you want to trade with to be online, you can just buy it from the shop!
Some Things to Note
While the mod does say that villagers can and will trade coins for their wares, that is not the case for this server as we found that it would be too much inflation if a player managed to get a good villager trade going for coins. Villagers still have emerald and item trades, but you can find coin pouches in loot chests commonly in Strongholds, Treasure Bastions, Buried Treasure and in Pillager Outposts.
When a player is killed, they will drop a set amount of coins on their death. No one else but the dead player can pick their coins up, but please don’t forget to grab your coins!!
